Information on customs duties and taxes by country

Israel

Prices displayed on our website include Israeli VAT (Ma’am) of 18%. No additional fees to expect.

European Union (FR, BE, IT, ES, DE, NL...)

Orders shipped to the EU are subject to customs duties and the VAT of the destination country.

  • VAT: applied at the country’s rate (e.g. 20% in France, 21% in Belgium, 22% in Italy, 21% in Spain)
  • Customs duties: leather shoes imported from outside the EU are subject to a customs duty of 8% to 17% depending on the material
  • Duty-free threshold: for shipments valued under 150€, customs duties do not apply, but VAT remains due

Customs fees and VAT are the responsibility of the recipient and will be requested by the carrier upon delivery.

United Kingdom (UK)

Since Brexit, shipments to the United Kingdom are treated as non-EU imports.

  • VAT: 20% on the declared value
  • Customs duties: 8% to 12% for shoes depending on the material
  • Duty-free threshold: 135 GBP — below this, VAT is collected by the seller or the carrier

Fees are generally collected by the carrier (FedEx, UPS) before delivery.

United States (USA)

  • Sales Tax: varies by state (0% to 10%)
  • Customs duties: leather shoes are taxed between 8.5% and 20% depending on the type
  • Duty-free threshold (de minimis): 800 USD — shipments below this value are exempt from customs duties and taxes

For most of our shoes (value < $800), no additional fees will apply.

Canada

  • GST/HST: 5% to 15% depending on the province
  • Customs duties: 11% to 18% for shoes
  • Duty-free threshold: 20 CAD — very low, most orders will be taxed

Good to know

  • Prices displayed on our website include tax (Israeli VAT of 18% included). For international orders, this VAT is automatically deducted at checkout.
  • Customs fees and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient and vary according to the country’s legislation.
  • The carrier (FedEx, UPS, DHL) may contact you for the payment of customs duties before or upon delivery.
  • We declare the actual value of the goods on customs documents.
