A craftsman, not a counter
Behind every pair entrusted to La Galerie stands Boris. Trained in Uzbekistan, on the Silk Road, where leatherwork is passed down from one generation to the next, he has practised the craft for fifty years — first as an artisan shoemaker, creating his own leather shoes from the first cut to the last stitch. He came to Israel in 1990 and has never put down his tools. Today, he — and only he — repairs our customers' shoes.
